The provision of good, affordable housing is the platform from which the Association has committed itself to the community at large, conveying the idea of value and a sense of caring.
The core objectives of Nehemiah UCHA are stated in its vision, which is:
"Through our housing role we will be a force for social and economic improvement, tackling poverty and inequality."
The Association is governed by a Board of voluntary members who delegate responsibility for day-to-day work to be undertaken by management and staff.

NEHEMIAH UCHA CELEBRATES SUCCESS
Nehemiah UCHA has lots to celebrate this week. The association is not only celebrating the first anniversary of its merger between Nehemiah Housing Association and United Churches Housing Association but the association is also celebrating creating more jobs as well as the completion of its 843rd new home.
“It is a great way of celebrating our first birthday, we now have a staff team of 38 people and that’s set to reach 40 in the next month and we have also created more new homes for local residents across the
West Midlands. We have even taken over more office space at our head office location on Birmingham Road in Great Barr. What’s more our plans for the next few years include creating even more jobs and building over 40 new homes across the West Midlands,” said Chief Executive,
Llewellyn Graham.
“Even though we may just be only one year old as a new organisation, the experience and heritage of each of our organisations gives us over 20 years of history and invaluable strength and depth in all areas of housing management and community development,” added Llewellyn.
“An important part of our merger was to deliver real efficiencies too,” said
Llewellyn Graham. “In our first year alone we will achieve savings and there is an ongoing commitment to reduce costs, increase efficiencies like customer service and increase staff levels where necessary. We are also committed, as a business to social purpose, to invest in new homes, refurbish our existing properties and invest in our local communities. Already in the first year of our merger we have new developments in
Wolverhampton and
Walsall. We also want to build on the success we had with ReBuild our employment and training programme for local residents in the
Wolverhampton area and hope to develop further employment and training opportunities for our residents.”
